Limited Bar Choices: Although the bar had a beautiful setting, it would have been more enjoyable if it offered a wider variety of choices, especially when it came to ciders.

I had an very nice stay at this beautiful lodge overlooking a serene lake. The view from my room was amazing and the spacious apartment had everything I needed. The staff were cute and always ready to assist. The food at the restaurant surpassed my expectations, especially the well-prepared dinner. The location was convenient for exploring Hazyview and Sabie. I can't wait to visit again!

Noisy Insects at Night.

We had an fine and peaceful stay at this hotel. The location was picturesque, with beautiful views of the lake and water lilies. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. The rooms were comfortable, with air conditioning and large shower heads. We also loved the white cotton linen and the overall pleasant atmosphere. The hotel was a bit further out from the busy city, a peaceful and quiet retreat. the hotel's facilities were excellent.

Nothing it is perfect.

The reflecting lake view from the lodge is easily accessible from the main road and is truly breathtaking. It's like a tranquil oasis amidst the bustling city life, making it the best place to clear your mind from the busy life.

Kitchen was closed during our stay, causing minor inconvenience.

During my recent business trip to Hazyview, my director chose Bambuu Lakeside Lodge for our accommodation. I was impressed with the excellent facilities and services provided by the hotel. The free WiFi was reliable and fast, which was essential for me to stay connected and complete my work efficiently. the year-round outdoor pool offered a refreshing retreat after a long day of meetings and provided a stunning view of the lakeside surroundings.

Nothing that I didn't like.

We stayed at Bambuu Lakeside Lodge for four nights and had a fantastic experience. The lodge is beautifully situated on a lake, providing a breathtaking view from our room every morning. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and we were able to book excellent tours directly through them. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had comfortable bedding. The lodge is also conveniently located near the Kruger Park gate. it was a perfect romantic getaway, and we will definitely be visiting again.

Loved the serene lake view, perfect for clear your mind. Plenty of activities to keep the active guest entertained. Beautiful guest house with amazing scenery.

Who needs privacy? No toilet door in the bathroom, so you can enjoy all the sounds and smells.

As longer term business travelers, we really enjoyed the tranquil surroundings and hidden gem feel of Bambuu Lakeside Lodge. the lake and resident hippo population created a beautiful and serene atmosphere. the well-furnished lakeside rooms provided a comfortable stay with great views over the water. the on-site restaurant offered a daily choice of menus, serving well-prepared and presented food. the option to dine outside on the pier or inside the main house was a nice touch. the bar service and pool area were also great amenities to enjoy, all served by friendly and helpful staff.

Felt like royalty, no complaint.

The view from our room was breathtaking, with a stunning lake just outside our window. the room itself was cozy and comfortable, providing a perfect romantic setting for our escape. We were also pleasantly surprised by the delicious dinner served at the lodge, with generous portions that left us satisfied.

We were disappointed to find out upon arrival that outside alcohol was not allowed on the premises, especially considering the limited drink options at the bar. the breakfast menu remained the same throughout our stay, and we were told supper would be available but it wasn't.

The Luxury of a Game Reserve, without the Price! We had the most incredible time at Bambuu Lakeside Lodge! It felt like we were in our own private game reserve, surrounded by nature. The lodge offered us the chance to experience the thrill of being in the African wilderness, at a fraction of the cost of a luxury game reserve. The breathtaking views of the lake and the lush greenery provided the perfect backdrop for our family adventures. We went rafting on the surrounding water, which was a great way to bond as a family and enjoy some fun-filled moments. After a day of adventure, we would all come back to our comfortable rooms and reminisce about the amazing experiences we had. Bambuu Lakeside Lodge truly captured the essence of a private game reserve without breaking the bank.

For dads, it would be great to have more family-friendly activities. My children wanted more activities specifically designed for families with kids.

The facilities are well-maintained, safe, and definitely a must-visit again. The staff are exceptionally hospitable and friendly, making you feel right at home. The stunning views and serene lake surroundings will leave you in awe. The room itself is comfortable and exactly like the pictures. our experience was fantastic. The prompt service, peaceful location, and unexpected hippo sighting upon arrival made it a highly recommended stay.
